Make a Mothers Day gift at our Tea Party!

Stuck for what to give the Mum who has everything? Keen to make something crafty but not sure where to start? Want a gift which is both sustainable & fashionable? We may have just the answer!

Scrapiana BroochWe’re incredibly excited that Bath-based textile guru Scrapiana will be running Up-cycled Brooch Making Workshops at the Craft-Tea Party! All the materials and help you will need to make a brooch will be on hand, and in just half an hour you will be amazed at the results. Take a look here! All the materials are upcycled from old scarves / jumpers. A truly unique gift. All it will cost to join in is a £5 donation, which will go directly to Oxfam’s work.

If you would like to take part in a workshop, your place must be booked in advance. Workshops will run at the following times: 2pm / 2.45pm / 3.30pm / 4.15pm. Please email stating your name, how many places you wish to book, and your preferred workshop time. We will then email you back with confirmation. NB: This activity can be undertaken by older children, but parents will need to supervise and book a place too.

We look forward to seeing everyone’s creations on the day!!

This will be such fun! These are a really quick make, and so satisfying. Much simpler than they look. And made entirely from upcycled or vintage materials, so keeping those textiles miles down. Really looking forward to it! And to seeing these little felty flowers bedecking coats, jackets and bags around Bath over the coming months. :))
